I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Northwestern University. I work on topics in labor and public economics. My research examines how the public sector shapes economic outcomes for individuals and communities through employment and social service provision. In ongoing work, I am studying the significance of government employment for economic mobility of racial minority groups. I have extensive experience in project management, data analysis, and policy evaluation.
Most recently, I worked as a Staff Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2018.
